We are working the whole week doing a course for Danish pedagogues. We love it. They do so much to show interest in the children and they seem to always find a way to build relationships to any child. Shout out to the pedagogues in Danish schools and clubs. Here, you see fourteen from England and one from Greece. They are visiting Frydenhøjskolen in the Coipenhagen area . Thanks to Gerhard Grubb Waaentz and Jan, Hanne og Anna and many more, the school openedd its doors for us. We witnessed a wonderful, inklusive atmosphere, many types of learning environments and and on a very high level. Impressive. We also met Carsten. He is (left hand side of the picture) a pedagogue and they are deeply involved together with the in making children's lives even better.

Our man in England, Jim Rogers spent time in great company as you can see. Jim introduced The Nordic Teaching Model to teachers and school leaders in Cornwall, England. And they loved it. Now they all want to visit Scandinavia! And we will make it happen. Are you coming too?

When I was young, I dreamed of becoming a rock star going on tours and having a ball. That dream changed. Because, I am into and and I love it. So, feeling a bit like a rock star but with something else to say, I look forward to visiting England again. The tour dates are: Rugby Schools 17th March, Cheshire School Leaders Conference 18th, Birmingham 21st March and finally not Wembley but The Danish Embassy on Tuesday 22nd March. What you can learn from countries where polar bears roam the streets?

In the next couple of weeks we are focusing on building strong and healthy relationships between teachers and students.

The in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland are known for the way talk and interact with their .

Over the years, we have experienced that Nordic teachers’ focus on social competencies is different from teachers in the Anglo-Saxon school systems all over the world.
In the Nordic countries we spend more time on working with relationship building.

But don’t worry - it’s not a thing that can only be done in a small and rainy part of the world where polar bears roam the streets.

What could be interesting to hear about from the Nordic countries and our countries' schools?

We have been invited to European School Heads Association (ESHA) Biennial Conference 2022, which will be held in Limassol, Cyprus on 18-21 May 2022 :-)

It is such an honor. But we need your help. What should we tell about the Nordic approach to and and to all the participating ? Please, tell us what you would like to hear. Each year in week 41 Danish school children (and their and ) spend Friday morning exercising.

Why?

Because it's a national event focusing on , and having .

Arranged by Dansk Skoleidræt (from whom we also borrowed the picture) and this year setting an official world record by being the largest exercising event for children💪
