Director of fur marketing company Saga Furs of Scandinavia expelled for fraud
By: /Ritzau/
With immediate effect, CEO Ulrik Kirchheiner of the fur marketing company Saga Furs of Scandinavia has been expelled. In a press release, the board writes that the dismissal is due to 'unacceptable handling of the company's funds'.
The chairman of Saga Furs, fur breeder Ulf Enroth, does not want to specify to Ritzau how much the now-fired director has defrauded.
- In the last two or three days, the audit has reviewed extensive material. On the basis of the conclusions from this review, the board has taken the decision to end the collaboration with Ulrik Kirchheiner, says Ulf Enroth.
The case has not been reported to Kl poliKet, but Ulf Enroth does not want to rule out that it may come up later. Both the company's external and internal audits continue to look into the matter.
Saga Furs is owned and operated by the four fur breeders' associations in Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark.
