Every ton counts in a drought year. 🌽
Drought has changed the maize crop. Has it changed your silage strategy?
Drought-stressed maize brings a different set of challenges to the silo — variable moisture, nitrate risk, difficult packing conditions and greater potential for losses and spoilage.
When ideal conditions are no longer an option, the goal shifts: capture as much of the remaining feed value as possible and protect every kilogram of dry matter.
Join Giuseppe Copani, Global Product Technical Manager for Silage at Novonesis, and Miles Taylor, Technical Development Manager – Plant Biosolutions at Novonesis, for a practical webinar exploring the mitigation strategies that can help you:
🌱 Make better harvest decisions under challenging conditions
🚜 Improve packing and reduce avoidable losses
🧫 Promote effective fermentation
🌡️ Improve aerobic stability at feed-out
💰 Protect feed value and make the most of every tonne harvested

Because you can’t control the weather — but you can take action to protect the value of your silage.

👉 Join the webinar on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 and learn how to turn a challenging maize crop into stable, feedable silage while helping protect farm profitability: https://phb.explore.novonesis.com/join-silage-webinar-19AUG2026

Heat stress isn't just about hot weather... it's a nutrition
challenge.

When cows get hot, they naturally eat less 🐄⬇️
The problem? Their nutrient needs actually go up.
So every kg of feed must deliver more.

That shifts the focus from simply what we feed to how well cows
use the nutrients they consume.

🦠 That's why Bacillus probiotics are getting so much attention. By
supporting digestibility and nutrient utilization, they can help cows
get more from every bite—even when feed intake is limited.

That's the science of immunomodulation.

Join our upcoming scientific webinar to explore the connection between the gut and the immune system—and discover how Bacillus probiotics may help support immune resilience in beef cattle.

You'll gain insights into:
✔️ Why immunomodulation matters for beef cattle health and performance
✔️ How the gut microbiome influences immune function
✔️ The mechanisms behind Bacillus probiotics
✔️ The latest research and practical applications for beef nutrition

Whether you're a ruminant nutritionist, veterinarian, technical service professional, or animal health consultant, this webinar will provide evidence-based insights to help you navigate today's beef production challenges.

The immune system is essential to cattle health, resilience, and performance. But effective immune support isn't about activating the immune system at all times—it's about helping animals mount the right response at the right time. This balance, known as immunomodulation, is an emerging area of...

Every ton of matters. Oxygen is one of the biggest threats to forage quality after harvest, causing dry matter losses, nutrient degradation, and spoilage.

Join Novonesis' webinar with Felipe Xavier Amaro and Giuseppe Copani on July 9, 2026 to learn how effective silage cover management and oxygen barrier technology can help protect forage quality, improve aerobic stability, and preserve more of the feed you've worked hard to produce. Discover practical strategies to support animal performance and maximize the value of every ton stored in your bunker, pile, or silo.

🥛 The milk in your fridge didn't start in a carton.

Neither did the yogurt or cheese you enjoy every day.

Before they reached your table, they had already traveled an incredible biological journey.

It all starts with a seed planted in healthy soil.

From there, biology is at work every step of the way — helping crops thrive, preserving nutritious forage, unlocking more value from feed, supporting rumen function and resilient herds, and finally transforming milk into the dairy products families around the world know and love.

Because dairy isn't a chain of isolated steps.

It's one interconnected biological system.

From healthy soils...
🌱 to productive crops...
🌽 to nutritious feed...
🐄 to healthy herds...
🥛 to milk...
🧀 to yogurt, cheese, butter, and so much more.

Every decision made on the farm echoes all the way to the family table.

This Dairy Month, we're celebrating everyone who makes that journey possible — from farmers and agronomists to nutritionists, veterinarians, feed manufacturers, processors, researchers, retailers, and innovators.

You too can thank them for helping nourish families around the world while learning about the biology behind every drop:

🌱🐄🥛 Watch the journey. You may never look at dairy the same way again.

Some of the biggest advances in dairy don't come from larger machines or new infrastructure. They happen at the microbial level — where biology, powered by science, helps cows get more from every kilogram of feed, supports herd health, and enables farmers to produce more with fewer resources.

This Dairy Month, we're celebrating the scientists, researchers, and teams who turn microbiology into practical biosolutions that help dairy producers improve herd health, optimize nutrition, and drive more sustainable milk production. "Animal health comes first. And then production should flow from there."

When we asked New Zealand dairy farmers Craig and Kate what matters most on their farm, they didn't talk about milk yield.

They didn't talk about efficiency.
They didn't talk about profitability.
They talked about their cows.

"We treat our cows like they're our family."

In a world that often measures success by output alone, that perspective stopped us in our tracks.

Because the best farmers understand something that applies far beyond agriculture: When you take care of what matters most, performance follows.

For Craig and Kate, that means prioritizing animal welfare, healthier calves, and doing right by the animals in their care.

It also means trusting in nature.

"It's about getting nature to do nature's thing."

At Novonesis, that's why we believe in biology.
Not as a shortcut.
Not as a silver bullet.
But as a way to work with nature, supporting the biological processes that help animals thrive.
The world sees the milk. We see the care behind it.

This , we're celebrating the farmers, nutritionists, and veterinarians who put animal health first every single day.

Because healthier animals don't just lead to better performance.
They reflect something even more important:
A commitment to doing things the right way.

Long before the milk truck arrives, everything depends on feed quality, fresh nutritious silage, and the health of the rumen and the gut. Because better dairy production starts with what cows eat and how effectively they utilize it.

This , let’s thank the ruminant nutritionists who make the right choices, who reformulate diets to ensure optimal nutrition, who stay up to date on the latest feed additive innovations, and who choose to invest in biosolutions.

On hot summer days, cows are a lot like us—they get thirsty, eat less, and prefer to stay cool.

One simple way to help maintain feed intake is to adjust feeding times. Offer a larger share of the ration during the cooler hours of the day, when cows are more likely to eat comfortably.

And just like we enjoy a late-night snack, don’t forget to leave them a bedtime treat. 🌙🐄

Small management changes can make a big difference to cow comfort and performance during periods of heat stress. And so do Bacillus probiotics!
