“Ulinzi 1”, the first of three service patrol boats for the Tanzanian Port Authority has been launched at Shunhai Shipyard, China, where ERRIA performs technical supervision.

This patrol boat has steel hull and aluminum deck house, and is propelled by two marine diesel engines with fixed pitch propellers to reach speed of 18 knots at open sea.

Ship launching airbags made of synthetic-tyre-cord reinforcement and rubber layers were used for launching.

“Ulinzi 1” will wait for next two sister ships to be launched after the Chinese New Year, with delivery expected for March 2017.

The new built tugboats MWAMBANI and VALERIA RUGAIHURUZA are already undergoing their maiden voyage from Guangzhou Shunhai Shipyard in South China to their homeport in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.

The delivery voyage is conducted by Danish shipboard management (Master and C/E) and skilled crew, fully appointed and supervised by ERRIA personnel.
Every step of the project has been carefully planned by ERRIA engineers and superintendents, keeping in mind the highest safety standards and customer needs.

In the picture, the tugboat Joulius at the Fayard dock in Odense, where it went through several jobs including Screw Shaft Withdrawal, Bottom Hull Survey (Class), Main Engine Overhaul, Change of auxiliary engine, etc., which were all thoroughly inspected by ERRIA’s experienced personnel.

ERRIA has been very enthusiastic about new inspections being conducted across the globe.
Last week, ERRIA was requested by Hind Offshore to conduct pre-purchase inspections of the AHTS “Highland Endurance”, in the United Kingdom.
“Highland Endurance” is an Anchor Handling Tug Supply vessel built in the Norwegian Shipyard SOVIKNES, in 2003.
The DP2 vessel was designed to meet the harsh conditions of the North Sea and undertake both supply duties between land bases & drilling sites, as well as provide towing assistance and deep water anchor handling.

PEMEX vessel inspection in Veracruz, Mexico, completed at "Ignacio Allende" by Michael and Darek, ERRIA Senior Project Managers.

Darek will be rpresent a bit longer to continue with vetting and TMSA training promotion to PEMEX and TMM.

Delivery of the three PSV´s

Naviera Integral (Mexico) is happy with ERRIA service and the appreciated support / familarisation that has been given.

Our two Senior Project Managers Darek Szymczak and Michael Hansen has now left Mexico to carry out another inspection, this time of an Pemex tanker.
