Did you know that a waterless urinal saves 100’000l of water per year?

What can you do with this amount of water saved?

- You can drink water for 40'000 days when in average an adult drinks 2.5l a day
- You can produce approximately 21 kg of porce meat (1kg needs around 4’730l of water)
- 20 kg of cheese can produced, as 5’000l of water is used for 1 kg of cheese

- Approx. 5kg of coffee can be gained with the water saved by using one waterless urinal
- And for Switzerland very important, the Swiss chocolate: 3.7 kg of cacao can be produced with the water used for flushing urinals

Did you know that our high-tech plastic urinals are produced CO2-neutral?

Plastic urinals are made by an injection-moulding production process, which uses a large amount of energy. For the production of our high-tech plastic urinals 100% renewable energy (water enegery) is used, leading to a CO2-neutral production. Additionally nearly all parts of a plastic-waterless urinal are sourced in Europe in a radius of < 1'000 km reducing the negative environmental impact of long transport routes.

Let’s face it; in the sanitary ware industry waterless urinals have become indispensable. There is an ever growing demand for reliable odour-trap solutions in the urinal market.
We therefore decided to use our patented and proven MB-ActiveTrap solution also in combination with urinals from other manufacturers. For those who are not ready to invest in a new installation we developped an easy to install retrofit-kit for different types of water-flushed urinals.

When are you going to go waterless?

Shouldn’t waterless urinals be defined as a standard for public toilets?

Why?

Reason 1:
In new built project you can save up to 50% of investment costs, because expensive electronical flushing systems, drinking water pipes, and so on are not needed.

Reason 2: In average you save more than 70’000l drinking water per year and urinal and thus you can reduce your water bill.

Reason 3: You can gain up to 8 LEED points in the «Water Efficiency» class.

Reason 4 : You save up to 175 g CO2 per m3 drinking water not used.

Reason 5: You only need biological cleaner to do the cleaning no acid cleaners.

Reason 6: You can improve the hygiene in the washroom as with the absence of water there are less bacteria which can develop.

Is regular cleaning helping to reduce the spread or does only disinfection work to kill Covid19?

To disinfect a surface is the only effective way to kill Covid19; regular cleaning by using none disinfection cleaning agents does not necessarily kill bacteria or viruses.

But cleaning surfaces with regular cleaning agents still helps, because when we remove dirt, germs and impurities from surfaces it will lower the number of viruses, through that we destroy the environment they live in.

For example while using a long lasting multipurpose cleaner, we hinder the virus of developing and therefore reduce the risk of spreading the infection.


So let’s keep our environments clean, keep on social distancing and clean & disinfect surfaces whenever possible.

Let’s work us back to a new normal.
