A life vest only keeps your dog safe when it is adjusted correctly before you hit the water.

Our Pro Lifevest™ is designed with specific safety features to protect them, but they only work when used right.

First, secure the wide belly flaps snugly using the fur-friendly velcro. If you only fasten the back straps, the vest can ride up and rotate in the water.

Second, pull-test the assistant handle on land every time. The handle is rated to 180kg, but you need to ensure it is solid before an emergency.

Third, measure your dog's chest girth rather than choosing by weight alone. A deep-chested dog needs a fit that won't gap at the sides, keeping buoyancy right where it belongs.
