Match4Life is a genetic test designed to help couples or individuals who are planning to conceive, ensuring they are genetically compatible and minimizing the risk of passing on inherited conditions.

Before using Match4Life, both individuals (or partners) need to undergo a carrier test. This test checks for genetic mutations that might lead to inherited conditions. By screening both individuals, Match4Life ensures that both are not carriers of the same genetic mutation, which could increase the risk of passing on a genetic disorder to their children. This helps make informed decisions and reduce the chances of having a child affected by a genetic condition.

We recently showed our pioneering work within reproductive genetics at the Congresso Brasileiro 2024 CBPN e REDLARA, Brazil. This event drew together over 400 fertility specialists from across the region, emphasizing its prominence within the field 👩‍🔬 👩‍⚕️
Our CEO Hans Atli Dahl presented "Non-invasive PGT-A: Potential and Promise" focusing on the latest non-invasive preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidies (niPGT-A), a topic of significant interest to the attendees.
The Red Latinoamericana de Reproducción Asistida (REDLARA), unites over 90% of Latin America's assisted reproduction centers, including 72 accredited centers in Brazil, facilitating an ideal platform for Amplexa Genetics to share and collaborate with leading specialists in the field.
Amplexa Genetics is proud to have contributed to such a pivotal gathering, further solidifying our commitment to advancing reproductive health and genetics across Latin America 👶

Christina Dühring Fenger was representing Amplexa Genetics at the exciting and interactive NIHR/MRC mTOR Pathway Diseases node kick-off event in London on November 24th. Here, we had the opportunity to meet with colleagues and potential collaborators, including doctors and researches to discuss the diagnosis of patients with focal epilepsy.

During the event, Joseph Matthew Bateman and Laura Mantoan were pleased to announce that they have received a grant of £1.2 million from MRC for research on brain-specific somatic variants in mTOR pathway genes with Amplexa Genetics A/S as a partner🧠💡 This funding aims to explore the potential development of focal epilepsy.

The gathering provided a valuable platform for networking and fostering collaborations in the field of epilepsy research. Amplexa Genetics looks forward to contributing to advancements in understanding and addressing mTOR pathway diseases through ongoing partnerships and research initiatives 🌐🤝

We're excited to share the highlights from our recent event where we gathered local politicians to discuss the future of the Life Science industry on Fyn and Sønderjylland.

Our event aimed to address these concerns and engage local politicians in finding solutions that can elevate Fyn and Sønderjylland to the same level as Copenhagen and Aarhus. At the core of this effort is the creation of local jobs in the Life Science industry. In this aspect, the news about Novo Nordisk planning to build a new production plant in Odense marks a significant step forward for our region in the Life Science sector. However, as we celebrate this major milestone, it's crucial to remember that small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) remain the backbone of our local Life Science ecosystem. Supporting them is essential to ensure the sustained growth and innovation of the industry.

The goal is to bolster the entire Danish Life Science industry, where the conditions for development, innovation, and growth are ripe. This is particularly true on Fyn, where we must adjust the framework to accommodate the needs of small businesses and provide opportunities for SDU graduates to remain in the local area after completing their education.

Life Science may not be everyone's field, but Fyn and Sønderjylland are our shared concerns. We hope that the politicians' attendance and active participation in this meeting will contribute to a brighter future for our local Life Science industry.
Thank you to everyone who joined us! 💪🔬

Amplexa Genetics is thrilled to announce that we have been granted funding from the prestigious Eurostars program as the leading SME for an international collaboration that's set to revolutionize the way we tackle bacterial contamination and spoilage in the food industry!

🔬 Our groundbreaking project is all about advancing the analysis of bacterial growth patterns in an industrial context.

🌍 Foodborne illnesses caused by bacteria are a major public health concern, leading to countless cases, hospitalizations, and food waste annually in Europe. Our project aims to fill the gap in current techniques and bring about a transformative change in the way we understand bacterial growth.

🔍 By redefining the way we study bacterial cultures, we're diving into the intricate details of bacterial growth. This means gaining invaluable insights into the growth patterns of pathogenic bacteria, especially in food production chains.
