We’re sure there’s better work for your PhDs to do than cleaning and changing water on instruments that were made obsolete a long time ago. Allow us to take a bit of weight off their shoulders by introducing the most reliable and easy-to-use 3D cell culture system to date. The ClinoStar 2 ensures more time spent on research and less time on work that
doesn’t belong in a modern laboratory.

If that doesn’t do it for you the ClinoStar 2 also mimics In Vivo functionality. It gives you reproducibility, a low-shear stress environment, and reduced depletion zones. How’s that for a win-win bargain?

Have you seen the plans and initiatives from the FDA and NIH back in April?

April of 2025 can fittingly be described as a turning point for how we will create the treatments of the future, with two landmark decisions from the FDA and NIH that ought to be centre stage for everyone in the industry.

In this blog post, Celvivo's CRO Stephen Fey explains how clinostat-based three-dimensional (3D) culture of different cellular constructs can refine biomedical research and reduce reliance on animal models.

CelVivo raises DKK 50 million with EIFO as lead investor to accelerate global expansion 🔬

We’re proud to announce that CelVivo has secured DKK 50 million in our latest funding round, led by the Export and Investment Fund of Denmark (EIFO). This investment marks a significant milestone as we continue to bring our pioneering ClinoStar system to researchers worldwide.
With EIFO’s backing, we’re now accelerating our expansion plans, with a strong focus on international markets.

🗣️ “We’re operating in a rapidly evolving research field, yet the tools available still leave much untapped potential. With this new investment, we have a pivotal opportunity to deliver a solution that simplifies and speeds up the path to better research outcomes — outcomes that can ultimately lead to more meaningful scientific breakthroughs,” says Peter Willems-Alnøe, CEO of CelVivo.

EIFO shares our vision for the future of life science tools.

🗣️ “While many specialized funds are focused on drug development, few are looking at the tools and diagnostics that make that research possible. EIFO plays a key role here, and our investment in CelVivo is a great example of that. We’re committed to helping build a strong Danish cluster of companies developing enabling technologies for next-generation therapeutics — and CelVivo is a vital part of that,” says Tonni Bülow-Nielsen, Partner in EIFO’s Life Science investment team.

We’re excited for what’s ahead—and grateful for the support that will help us drive the next wave of innovation in 3D cell culture.
