From Malaysia to Denmark – sharing knowledge, strengthening partnerships! 💫

Wednesday and Thursday, we had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation from Imbasan Tenggara Sdn Bhd. in Malaysia to DanBred.

During their visit, our Key Account Manager, Henrik Nielsen, introduced the delegation to DanBred as a company and presented our genetic programme and design recommendations, highlighting how our genetics can help professional pig producers achieve strong results.

The visit also included a stop at SKOV A/S, where the delegation learned more about their climate solutions for pig production, including how to create and maintain an optimal climate for pigs in Sarawak and Sabah, Malaysia.

As part of their wider programme in Denmark, the delegation also visited Molsgaard Breeding Center, where they gained insight into DanBred breeding operations, as well as Mariesminde Pig Production, where they saw DanBred genetics in practice. The programme further included visits to AVS Agric and Hvidebæk slagteri & pølsefabrik, providing additional insights into different parts of the Danish pig production and processing industry.

A week of insights, conversations, and Canadian hospitality 🤝

Recently, DanBred’s Board of Directors and Management Team visited Canada to gain deeper insights into the Canadian pork industry and strengthen relationships with key partners.

The program included valuable meetings with industry organisations, customers, partners, and our Canadian DanBred team. We had the opportunity to discuss opportunities and challenges in the market, and learn more about the factors shaping the future of pig production in Canada 🌎

And of course, no visit to Canada would be complete without experiencing a little Canadian culture along the way 🏒🏒

A huge thanks to our Canadian colleagues for their warm welcome and great company.

Great discussions on optimal feeding of pigs in Belgium 💡🐷

Last week, DanBred and Proxani organised an insightful event for pig producers in Belgium. Among others, our colleague Claus Olling Rasmussen gave a presentation together with Gunner Sørensen from SEGES Innovation about practical feeding strategies for gilts, sows, and finishers.

This was cause for valuable discussions and knowledge sharing on improving both performance and profitability through optimal nutrition.

When genetic potential goes hand in hand with proper management and nutrition, that's when the real results happen 💪

We’ve had the pleasure of welcoming a fantastic group of clients from Brazil, representing Aurora Cooperative and Coacig, for a tour of the Danish pig sector 🐷

The goal was to give them a closer look at how Danish pig production works and to show how DanBred can contribute to modern pig production 🔍

The tour was organised together with our local partner DanBred Brasil, and we got the opportunity to visit the Danish Agriculture & Food Council, Agro Food Park & SEGES, Bøgildgaard, Munkbro nucleus farm, Go-Gris commercial farm, and Tican slaughterhouse.

Making it a great opportunity to connect Danish know-how and technology, genetic potential, and the perspective of the Brazilian producers!

Robust pigs have arrived safely in Armenia 🐷

A new chapter has begun for a customer in Armenia, as 551 DanBred pigs have successfully completed their journey from Denmark to their new farm 👏

To support the shipment, our colleague, Meroujan Ogannisian, accompanied the pigs throughout their journey, helping ensure a smooth arrival and high standards every step of the way.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in planning and executing this export!
