What is SCO?: An all-inclusive, adults-only luxury retreat for distinguished singles. The event will bring together single, Black men and women for a long weekend of dating and relationship-focused discussions, games and excursions designed to strengthen future romances and inspire real-time connection.
Is there going to be an even balance of men and women? That’s always the goal. This is a private, curated experience to meet a companion in a safe, no-pressure environment. We work hard to ensure the best experience for everyone. So, tell your single, intentional friends, male & female to sign up! We’d love to meet them!
What is the difference between this and other trips? We follow a set of “Rules of Engagement” that takes the pressure off modern dating. 1. Guests “Crushes” cannot be currently married or otherwise actively engaged in a monogamous relationship. 2. Crushes cannot exchange contact information during the event. Contact information is shared between Crushes by the Event Host(s), after the event, and only when there is a mutual Match. 3. Crushes must fully engage in the experience. 4 Crushes must have an open heart. Our events will challenge your perception of dating.
Do I have to do the interview? For the Overseas version of Stupid Cupid, no, but other iterations have different requirements; for more information, check out our website. Vacations are always better in groups - or at least we think so. In the SCO iteration, we take our most intentional singles & fly them overseas to explore love while enjoying paradise. Through SCO, our partners curate a custom group itinerary that encourages networking and adventure.
