Fun project we recently did for Enterprise Estonia (EIS)

Taking its shape from the Brand Estonia boulder motif, Scent Boulder turns the familiar graphic form into a three-dimensional, tactile object made from our mycelium material and designed to diffuse scent.

It is paired with two custom scents by reket “Rannik ja meri” (Coast & Sea) and “Sügisene mets ja raba” (Forest & Bog).

Scent Boulder was created as a gift for EIS’s foreign guests: a small piece of Estonia that can be touched, smelled and taken home, offering a sensory glimpse of the country.

The project has also been nominated for the Eesti disaini auhind BRUNO / Estonian design award BRUNO! You can vote

MYCEEN is selected for the EIC Pre-Accelerator programme, one of Europe’s most competitive deep tech funding programmes. 🫨

Out of 1,083 applications, only 70 companies were chosen across Europe, and another 320 companies received the Seal of Excellence.

The programme backs selected teams with a €500K grant and a range of business development opportunities. This support will help us accelerate the scale-up of our carbon-negative insulation materials and automated bio-manufacturing technology.

🌱 Nature has already solved materials science. We are enhancing it, and bringing those materials to the construction industry!🏗️

⤷ We are growing our team: engineering, production and business development.

🌱Fresh batch of our B Wise mycelium lamps is ready for the soon-to-open Lasnamäe Circular Economy Centre in Tallinn.

Designed by KOLM KOMA ARHITEKTID, the new building will serve as a model for circular and sustainable urban development. The centre will house a waste station, workshops, warehouses, and a community building.

We might be biased, but our lamps are a perfect match.☺️
