🌱 Working with cities to build a greener tomorrow

Across Europe, cities and regions are leading the charge toward a more sustainable future — and the EU’s Circular Cities and Regions Initiative (CCRI) is helping turn that ambition into action. ♻️🇪🇺

With support from Horizon Europe, CCRI empowers over 140 local governments to implement circular economy strategies that make a real difference — from rethinking construction and urban planning to redesigning local food and resource systems.

At the heart of this initiative is collaboration. Cities like Tampere, Finland are showing what’s possible when public authorities, researchers, businesses and citizens work together to reduce waste, lower emissions and create resilient, future-proof communities.

📢New Annotated Grant Agreement (AGA) – Horizon Europe Update!
The European Commission has released a new version of the Horizon Europe Annotated Grant Agreement, dated 01 April 2025.

This update includes:

✔️Mutual Insurance Mechanism (MIM): beneficiary liability clarified – all partners share responsibility if one fails

✔️Personnel-cost daily-rate rule clarified

✔️ 215-day ceiling confirmed for unit-cost & seconded staff

INORMS 2025
We were pleased to attend INORMS Congress 2025, hosted by EARMA in Madrid, from May 6–8, where research management professionals from around the world gathered to discuss the future of research support and funding. 🌍✨

🌍Associated vs. Partner Countries with Co-Funding — What’s the Difference and Why It Matters
