Una forma sencilla de entender IFC: es parecido a un PDF para modelos BIM.

Permite compartir una representación del modelo sin enviar todo el entorno nativo. Sin embargo, IFC va más allá de una imagen fija: puede conservar geometría, materiales, clasificaciones y otras propiedades para que diferentes equipos las consulten y verifiquen.

A report used to need an assignment first. No assignment, no report.

Which is backwards, because most site work doesn't start organised. It starts as a photo survey, a client markup, or a quick walkthrough on the way back to the car.

So now you export the PDF straight from the file — every pin and every comment on it, assigned or not. Two taps from the file's top bar, and it's generated on your own device: nothing gets uploaded to a server to build it.

If your work already has owners, the three assignment-driven reports (Status, Assignment, Daily Activity) are still there.

The other new thing: you can reply to any comment now, including a voice note and including another reply. It's deliberately flat — one chronological feed, no thread screen. On a phone, in gloves, you read down rather than sideways.

Worth knowing before you send a report to a client: the text of every comment and reply travels into the PDF, but photos and video are not embedded. You get a count and a link straight back to that comment in the app. Reports are in β and the limits are published, not buried.
