Join the 6th Security and Civil Society Conference 2026:
“Safer and Stronger Together: Strengthening Europe’s Civil Resilience and Preparedness in a Time of Realpolitik”

🌐 International hybrid conference
The conference will connect policymakers, researchers, journalists and civil society leaders from Europe, the Nordic–Baltic and Arctic regions, and the Euro-Mediterranean region.
The programme will address:
🔹 Nordic–Baltic and Arctic security - crisis preparedness, Arctic militarisation, critical infrastructure, energy security, supply chains and the strategic influence of Russia and China;
🔹 Euro-Mediterranean cooperation - inclusive governance, migration, human rights, social cohesion, climate action and meaningful civil society participation;
🔹 European security - Ukraine and Moldova, EU integration, democratic resilience and international cooperation;
🔹 Media resilience - hybrid threats, information warfare, disinformation, fact-checking and public trust;
🔹 Human-centred security - protecting vulnerable groups and strengthening cooperation between institutions, local authorities and communities.
Participants will also contribute to the Narva Declaration on Societal Resilience and Human-Centred Security.

The programme also includes cultural activities, study visits and networking opportunities in Tallinn, Narva and across Ida-Virumaa, enabling participants to discover Estonia’s cultural heritage, exchange experiences and develop new international partnerships.
