This video takes a closer look at the Forester standard forestry package, from the grapple and hydraulic rotator to the crane, trailer frame and running gear.
The package combines the FT-9 forestry trailer, FC-67L forestry crane, FG-20 log grapple and a Formiko hydraulic rotator as one matched system for everyday timber loading, handling and transport.
It is a straightforward Northern workhorse. Practical, dependable and designed without unnecessary complexity. The kind of equipment you can understand, maintain locally and rely on throughout the forestry season.
FT-9 FORESTRY TRAILER
1. 9,000 kg load capacity
Built for professional timber transport while maintaining compact overall dimensions.
2. 1,450 kg trailer weight
The lightweight yet robust frame keeps unnecessary dead weight off the tractor, improves manoeuvrability and helps reduce the risk of sinking into soft ground.
3. 530 mm ground clearance
Provides useful clearance over ruts, roots, stones and uneven forest terrain.
4. Extendable loading area
The loading area extends from 3,270 to 4,055 mm to accommodate different timber lengths and load configurations.
5. Six to eight stakes
The trailer is configured with three stake pairs when retracted and four pairs when extended.
6. Hydraulic steering drawbar and hydraulic brakes
The steering drawbar improves positioning and manoeuvrability on narrow forest roads, while hydraulic brakes provide greater control during transport.
7. Forestry running gear
Wide 400/60-15.5 tyres and stable support legs provide a practical foundation for loading and working on changing terrain.
FC-67L FORESTRY CRANE
1. 6.70 m maximum outreach
Provides the working range required for efficient loading and unloading around the trailer.
2. 500 kg lifting capacity at maximum outreach
Maintains practical lifting performance across the full working range.
3. 1,250 mm telescopic extension
Increases the working area while allowing the crane to remain compact during transport.
4. 52 kNm gross lifting torque
Provides dependable lifting performance for everyday timber handling.

Four hydraulic slewing cylinders provide full working coverage, controlled movement and 11.1 kNm of slewing torque.
6. 600 kg crane weight
The lightweight construction reduces unnecessary load on the trailer without sacrificing practical working capability.
7. Protected hydraulics
The system operates at a maximum pressure of 175 bar, while protected hydraulic components reduce exposure to branches, timber and accidental damage.
FG-20 LOG GRAPPLE AND FORMIKO ROTATOR
1. 0.20 m² gripping area
Suitable for handling individual logs and timber bundles.
2. 1,170 mm maximum opening
The wide opening supports efficient collection, loading and stacking of timber.
3. 432 mm closed height
The compact closed profile helps preserve usable lifting height and control.
4. 75 kg grapple weight
A lightweight structure provides a practical balance between gripping capacity and crane performance.
5. 175 bar maximum working pressure
Matched to the hydraulic requirements of the FC-67L crane.
6. Continuous rotation
The Formiko hydraulic rotator enables precise grapple positioning without unnecessary crane movement.
7. Two rotator options
Choose the Formiko FHR 3.000 for lighter or seasonal work, or the FHR 4.500 for more demanding professional applications. The grapple and rotator can also be adapted to other compatible forestry cranes.
BUILT TO KEEP THE SEASON MOVING
Northern conditions shaped the Forester approach. Snow, frost, rain, mud and rapidly changing terrain demand equipment that is strong, practical and easy to keep working.
Straightforward construction and widely available standard components allow routine service and many repairs to be carried out directly on site or by a qualified local workshop. This reduces dependence on specialist service and helps prevent unnecessary downtime.
The package also includes eight spare hydraulic cylinders:
• Four for the FT-9 trailer
• Three for the FC-67L crane
• One for the FG-20 grapple
If a cylinder is damaged during the season, the replacement is already available. The objective is simple: solve the problem quickly, return to work and complete the season on schedule.
DELIVERY AND REGISTRATION SUPPORT
Road homologation is currently in progress. Where legally applicable, the trailer can be supplied with Estonian transit registration, an Estonian technical passport and supporting documentation. This delivery and registration route has already been used in Finland and Latvia.
Forester can also assist with documentation and communication with the relevant authorities regarding local registration requirements.
Delivery to the agreed destination is included in the offer.
