New Civitta Partners, same table 🇭🇺

Over three days in Budapest, we brought together Civitta’s newest Partners and Associate Partners for Partner Orientation.

We covered company history, strategic priorities, financial deep-dives and business development. But just as importantly, we spent time together in person - sharing experiences, exchanging ideas and getting to know colleagues from across the Civitta network.

We also had the chance to spend time with our Budapest colleagues, one of the largest teams in Civitta.

A new recovery architecture for Ukraine: how should cooperation between government, business, and civil society evolve ahead of URC 2026?

This question was at the core of the panel discussion “Ukraine’s recovery triangle: the role of state, private sector and civil society. Towards URC 2026”, held as part of the IV International Conference “Ukrainian Leadership in Aid” and moderated by Civitta Ukraine Managing Partner Dmytro Lyvch.

Key conclusions: Ukraine’s recovery needs have reached $588 billion and are being addressed through parallel humanitarian, stabilization, reconstruction, and modernization efforts. This requires a move from aid dependence to investment-led growth and stronger involvement of civil society in recovery governance.

🚀 VET institutions across Eastern Europe are becoming launchpads for entrepreneurship

At Civitta, we're working on Hubs4Change - a project connecting Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova, Greece, and Lithuania to turn vocational education into real business experience.

The initiative transforms VET institutions into Entrepreneurial Hubs – dynamic spaces where learners develop practical business skills, test ideas, collaborate with mentors, and gain experience linked to real labour market needs 💼

Through Hubs4Change, VET learners are supported in developing entrepreneurial competences, green and digital skills, and hands-on experience through practical learning activities.

What that means in practice:

🔹 developing sustainable frameworks and digital tools for Entrepreneurial Hubs within VET institutions;
🔹 developing entrepreneurship-focused learning programmes and mentoring materials;
🔹 equipping VET teachers and trainers with entrepreneurial skills;
🔹 organising pilot trainings, hackathons, and international Work-Based Learning opportunities;
🔹 fostering cooperation between education providers, businesses, and innovation stakeholders.

Deep tech, Baltic edition: Civitta joins Deep Tech Atelier Riga

Civitta was glad to support Deep Tech Atelier 2026 in Riga, the region’s biggest and most influential science-based technology conference. The event brought together more than 2,300 tech leaders, innovators, and investors from 69 countries.

Within the Startup Pitch Competition, Civitta awarded four €1,000 consulting prizes to help startups accelerate their growth journey.

🇺🇦 🇪🇪 A Step Toward Change: Impact.Zhytomyr 2.0 Winners Returned from a Study Visit to Estonia

The team of In Touch Ukraine Foundation, with their project “Mobile Medicine for Remote Communities of Zhytomyr Region”, won the Impact.Zhytomyr 2.0 educational program – a three-month initiative supporting local projects in Zhytomyr region, co-organized by Civitta – and was awarded with a study trip to Estonia from the Estonian Centre for International Development (ESTDEV).

During a four-day visit, doctors from Olevsk and Ovruch communities, together with In Touch Ukraine Foundation representatives, explored Estonia’s healthcare and social protection systems, visiting over 10 institutions to study practical service delivery models.

According to Tetiana Kolbovska, Medical Director of the Ovruch Primary Healthcare Center, the visit provided clear, actionable insights and new ideas to strengthen local healthcare. The delegation noted it was not just a study trip, but a meaningful step toward systemic change in the region.

The Impact.Zhytomyr 2.0 program is implemented by the consulting company Civitta with the support of the Government of Estonia, the Estonian Centre for International Development, the Житомирська ОДА and the Агенція Регіонального розвитку Житомирської області.
