Location: RBS New Mansoura School
The Head of School serves as the academic leader of the institution, responsible for setting and maintaining the highest standards of educational excellence. This position entails providing visionary leadership, fostering a culture of academic innovation, and supporting the professional growth of faculty members. The primary focus is on advancing the academic mission of the school, enhancing teaching and learning, and promoting student success.
Key Responsibilities:
Academic Leadership:
Develop and articulate a compelling vision for academic excellence that aligns with the school's mission and values.
Provide strategic direction and leadership in setting academic goals, priorities, and initiatives.
Curriculum Development:
Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of a rigorous and innovative curriculum that meets the needs of students and aligns with educational standards.
Promote interdisciplinary approaches, experiential learning, and other innovative pedagogical practices.
Faculty Development:
Recruit, retain, and support a diverse and talented faculty team committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and mentorship.
Provide leadership and professional development opportunities to enhance faculty members' teaching effectiveness and scholarly productivity.
Student Success:
Foster a culture of student success, equity, and inclusion by implementing support services, academic advising, and student engagement initiatives.
Monitor student progress and academic performance, implementing interventions as needed to support student learning and well-being.
Academic Policy and Governance:
Develop and implement academic policies, procedures, and standards to ensure academic integrity, rigor, and quality assurance.
Collaborate with academic departments and governing bodies to ensure effective governance and compliance with accreditation standards.
Qualifications:
Terminal degree (Ph.D., Ed.D., or equivalent) in a relevant academic discipline.
Substantial experience in academic leadership roles, demonstrating a strong commitment to educational excellence and innovation.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
