Since 1998, the government has opened the door

for private sector companies to act as full shipping agencies in all Egyptian ports and for all types of vessels. LATT was one of the pioneers who started to act as a full agent the same month the decree was issued. Since then, we have always been ranked as one of the top 5 shipping agencies operating in Egypt in terms of cargo (tonnage) and number of vessels handled. Strategically located on the Red Sea—approximately 120 km southeast of Cairo and near the southern entrance of the Suez Canal—Sokhna Port stands as one of Egypt’s leading multipurpose gateways, facilitating trade between East and West.
