Interlude
This is a little break from my usual posting trying to promote the stuff I design/make to sustain the “business” part of things. Al Mangam has changed alot over the course of the years, as it has been a process of experimenting with different ways of approaching jewelry design, making, and marketing. It started three years ago on a bench in my small studio in my home in Cairo and evolved into trying to deliver orders in Egypt while being in London and selling some pieces here and there on Etsy. The journey I was having with Al Mangam was interrupted by pursuing a career in psychology (and I hope that I am able to integrate it into my jewelry making process). Having settled into what feels like a new life in London, the desire to go back to this creative outlet has grown. As I try and figure out what I want Al Mangam to be, hopefully a physical manfistation of this new beginning, I will be taking a break from the business side of things and coming back to it with new things.
