We’re thrilled to unveil our brand-new identity! What started as the Wireless Research Lab (WRL) has grown into something bigger, bolder, and more impactful. Today, we take the next step in our journey as CARDI Lab, a name that reflects our commitment to pioneering applied research and driving digital innovation.

The Meaning Behind Our Logo:

Our logo represents more than just a name; it’s a story of our mission and values:

🔵 Dark Blue Circle: Symbolizes technological excellence and applied research, showcasing our dedication to advancing cutting-edge solutions.

🟡 Yellow Circle: Represents creativity and exploration, driving us to push boundaries and foster innovation.

The FEHU-CPC, the “Faculty of Engineering Helwan University Collegiate Programming Contest”.

FEHU-CPC is an extra-curricular, competitive programming Community of the Faculty of Engineering at Helwan University in Egypt.

The Vision:

Improve software, and problem-solving skills for Faculty of Engineering Helwan university students for those aspiring to engage in local and global competitions. Strive to form a community of people with a local and international reputation with high standards.

The Mission:

Providing students with opportunities to interact, demonstrate, and improve their teamwork, programming, and problem-solving skills. shining the spotlight and raising the aspirations of the next generation of computing professionals as they pursue excellence.

FEHU-CPC ، "مسابقة البرمجة الجامعية لكلية الهندسة جامعة حلوان".

FEHU-CPC هو مجتمع برمجة تنافسي خارج المناهج الدراسية لكلية الهندسة بجامعة حلوان في مصر.

الرؤية:

تحسين البرمجيات ومهارات حل المشكلات لطلاب كلية الهندسة جامعة حلوان للراغبين في المشاركة في المسابقات المحلية والعالمية. نسعى جاهدين لتكوين مجتمع من الأشخاص يتمتعون بسمعة محلية وعالمية بمعايير عالية.

المهمة:

تزويد الطلاب بفرص للتفاعل وإثبات وتحسين مهاراتهم في العمل الجماعي والبرمجة وحل المشكلات. تسليط الضوء ورفع تطلعات الجيل القادم من المتخصصين في مجال الحوسبة وهم يسعون وراء التميز.

واحد من الـ projects اللي قدمنها هو:
"IOffload"
Integrating 3G/4G and Wi-Fi Architectures for Diverse Offloading Capabilities

- البروچيكت Funded by NTRA "الجهاز القومي لتنظيم الاتصالات".

- كان بيتم تنفيذه في سياق مشاريع بحثية تعاونية بين هندسة حلوان و شركة "Etisalat Misr".

- طب البروچيكت بيعمل ايه؟
هو عبارة عن fully integrated cellular/Wi-Fi network architecture بتدمج مجموعة من الـ complementary offloading possibilities بطريقة متزامنة عشان تحقق نظام شامل وفعال لتفريغ الضغط من على الشبكة ويـ switch لـ Wi-Fi.
بيتم تصميم الـ system ده عشان يشمل offloading opportunities مختلفة و mechanisms بـ architecture مبتكر.
الـ architecture ده بتيح programmable offloading policies وبتاخد في الاعتبار الـ access network conditions وحالة الـ devices.

هو research lab في هندسة حلوان بيقدم technical solutions و services زي:

- Supporting research activities in the area of wireless communications.

- Carrying out research projects in the field of wireless communications.

- Developing new solutions of interest to the industry.

- Providing the researchers with the required services and facilities to innovate.

- Offering short-term training courses for the industry and academia.

- Supporting projects for the graduate and undergraduate levels.
