At the Egypt Mining Forum, Adam Martin, Mining COE Director at Mantrac, shares his experience of participating in the Forum for the third year. He highlights the opportunity to engage with customers, identify emerging contractors and understand new concessions and projects as they develop.

Adam also reflects on growing engagement from the financing sector and the release of new concessions, highlighting their importance in supporting new equipment requirements and the opportunities he sees for Egypt’s mining industry over the next five to ten years.

The Prime Minister highlighted the government’s readiness to provide support to translate reform into exploration and exploration into production with clear priority to fast-track momentum and outcomes from the Egypt Mining Forum into tangible projects in country.

The Egypt Mining Forum 2026 comes to a close in Cairo following two days of strategic dialogue, technical exchange, business engagement and meaningful industry connections.

Day 2 continued the momentum, with discussions focused on exploration, investment, mineral development, technology and the opportunities shaping the future of Egypt’s mining sector. Across the conference programme and exhibition floor, government leaders, mining companies, investors, technical experts and solution providers came together to exchange knowledge, build connections and explore new opportunities.

From high-level conversations to technical insights and business meetings, the Forum brought together the people, expertise and organisations driving the next chapter of Egypt’s mining industry.
