We're happy to highlight the valuable contribution of MENA Hackathons to the Solar AI Hackathon, powered by ACG – Abdin’s Consultancy Group as part of Solar & Storage Live Egypt 2026.

As part of the Hackathon journey, Mohamed Gaber Sayed Hassan delivered an engaging and practical session on Pitching & Storytelling, helping participating startups and SMEs strengthen the way they communicate their ideas, structure their value proposition, and present their AI-powered solar solutions with clarity and confidence.

For startups and SMEs, a strong solution is only part of the journey. The ability to tell the story behind the problem, explain the business opportunity, demonstrate impact, and engage judges, partners, and potential investors is what turns an idea into a compelling opportunity.

The session added important value to the participants as they prepared for their final presentations before the Jury Committee, supporting them in refining their pitch flow, sharpening their message, and connecting technical innovation with real market and sector needs.

Proud to see the Solar AI Hackathon become not only a platform for innovation, but also a space for building stronger awareness around Responsible AI in Egypt’s energy sector.

It was a real pleasure for ACG – Abdin’s Consultancy Group and Terrapinn to work together with AUC’s MENA Observatory on Responsible AI as part of this important initiative, supporting participating startups and SMEs with insights on how AI can be applied in a way that is practical, ethical, transparent, and aligned with real sector needs.

The contribution of the MENA Observatory added an important layer to the Hackathon journey, helping teams think beyond the technology itself and reflect on governance, accountability, fairness, human impact, and responsible implementation.

As AI continues to reshape the future of solar energy, clean technology, and sustainability, raising Responsible AI awareness among startups, SMEs, and energy-sector stakeholders is no longer optional. It is essential for building solutions that can scale with trust and long-term impact.

We were pleased to host the 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐗 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐲 Roundtable Kick off on 𝐀𝐈 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬, bringing together senior leaders from the public and private sectors across diverse industries.

The discussion moderated by ACG's CEO Marwan Abdin focused on moving beyond AI awareness toward practical application, exploring how executives can leverage AI for business and decision intelligence while empowering their organizations through a structured and responsible digital transformation approach.

We were honored by the participation of H.E. Ambassador Dr. Omar Abou Eich and H.E. Dr. Ghada Shalaby, whose engaging participation reflected Egypt’s strong dedication to advancing responsible innovation and sustainable digital transformation.

It was a pleasure hosting representatives from esteemed partners and community collaborators, CEEBA - Confederation of Egyptian European Business Associationsn and Access to Knowledge for Development Center - A2K4D.

The depth of dialogue reflected the caliber of the growing Leadership X community and marked the beginning of a series of executive level conversations on AI driven transformation.

We also appreciated the presence of senior executives from leading organizations including CIB Egypt, National Bank of Egypt (NBE), GMG, Rixos Hotels, Ibn Sina, Activ Abou Alaa, and saib.
