The *last third* of the night is the time when Allah descends to the lowest heaven in a manner that suits His majesty.
This is a good time for prayer and a time when the dua is accepted and to seek forgiveness.
And the *Jawf* is the first half of the last third of the night, and this is a time when one is closest to Allah.

مَّثَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَٰلَهُمْ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ كَمَثَلِ حَبَّةٍ أَنۢبَتَتْ سَبْعَ سَنَابِلَ فِى كُلِّ سُنۢبُلَةٍۢ مِّاْئَةُ حَبَّةٍۢ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ يُضَٰعِفُ لِمَن يَشَآءُ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ وَٰسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ[ البقرة:٢٦١]

The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed [of grain] which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.

From Anas b. Mālik رضي الله عنه that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ passed by a tree with dry leaves, so he struck it with his staff making the leaves fall then the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: “Indeed (saying) Alḥamdulillaah and SubḥaanAllaah and Laa Ilaaha Illallaah and Allaahu Akbar remove from the sins of the slave just like the leaves fall from this tree.”

The only successful people on the day of judgment are those people who believe in the one true God alone and submit to his true teachings. so its v important that each one of us make sure before he or she dies, that he is not following blindly a fake faith, but must investigate and make sure to worship the true God and obeying his true teachings .

the reward for this is paradise which is eternal physical life of enjoyment,, while those who lose the true faith will live in eternal loss and punishment after the judgment day.
