The Cairo Center for Development Benchmarking's model works to compare the performance of strategies, processes, and products with the best performances of other entities inside and outside the industry. “Benchmarking is the search for best practices that lead to superior performance.” This model uses the “benchmarking” methodology in conducting researches on studies through the quantitative and qualitative measurements. This is done through monitoring the sectorial performance, measuring policies effectiveness, defining gaps and comparing indicators among different entities.
