Charming Old 1969’s Oil On Canvas Painting By The Italian /Egyptian Artist ELIAS CLAUDE RATHLE”

E.Claude Rathle 1937-2021” Born in Alexandria, Egypt, on November 26, 1937 a graduate of the Jesuites College and of Leonardo Da Vinci School of Art where he specialized in publi - city, architecture and painting. While studying in the latter he worked with Arab films Co. on a co-produc tion with Titanus Films Co. Rome. Goffredo Lombardo, director of Titanus Films Co. impressed by his talents, offered him a contract and proposed to him come over to Rome and work as a scene designer in his company.He had contacts with writers and Italian critics such as Zavattini, Prospery, Wilton Winn, ( Times Magazine ) Delguercio and Gatt on principals of ARGAN; and was making portraits of the most famous actors in Italy and the Middle East. At the same time he was winning awards, golden medals, and several cups during competitions presented in many towns throughout Italy.
His paintings are found in private collections in Italy (Rome, Milan, Torino, Santa-Rita, Ancona, Orvieto, etc:) France, Switzerland, Germany, Lebanon (Beirut), Turkey, Pakistan, India, Brazil, Canada (Montreal, and Toronto )U.S.A.
