What Causes Poly-G Overrepresentation?
The main reason for this is poly-G tailing, often found in:
✅ NovaSeq & NextSeq platforms (which use two-color chemistry)
✅ Low-diversity libraries, such as amplicon sequencing
✅ Degraded RNA samples, which can lead to non-random sequencing artifacts

How Does It Affect Your Analysis?
Ignoring these sequences can lead to:
❌ False-positive results in variant calling
❌ Biases in RNA-seq expression analysis
❌ Lower mapping rates due to non-biological sequences

How to Fix It?
