Our Open House covered every legal aspect, end to end ⚖️

The session covered legal topics that were relevant to the startups challenges such as startup registration, the required documents, trademark protection, and legal requirements.

What made it even better? There were so many questions, real discussions, and founders actively engaging to get a clear understanding of the legal side of building their startups. The attendees asked for another Open House on the same topic to explore the topic further.

Conversations between SMEs is the fuel for Egypt's green transition, and here's how we're supporting it 🇪🇬♻️

30 founders from the Green Growth and Jobs Accelerator Project (GGJAP) in Egypt and Heliopolis Univesrsity for Sustainable Developement (), HU Entrepreneurship Center for Social Impact (.ecsi)'s programs are coming together in a joint ecosystem learning day at the Farm Guesthouse for a full day of pitches, facility tours, and conversations about what it actually takes to move a green venture forward in Egypt.

Designed as an interactive ecosystem showcase, this event offers a practical look at the intersection of sustainable food systems, entrepreneurship, and community development.

The event aims to focus on these 4 subjects:
🌱Integrated sustainability models: seeing how waste, agriculture, and clean production work together in one place.
🤝Peer learning: founders exchanging real insights on the barriers facing green businesses in Egypt.
🔗Collaboration: identifying supply chain linkages, joint pilots, and partnerships worth building.
🗺️Ecosystem mapping: founders will map the key actors and partners they need to grow their businesses.

We celebrated the startups driving sustainability at the Climate Innovation and Impact event at the UK Embassy in Cairo! 🌿🇬🇧🇪🇬

The day started with the "Advancing Climate Innovation" roundtable, bringing together ecosystem players, investors, and policymakers in Egypt to discuss how to enhance global collaborations within Egypt’s green ecosystem.

The event highlighted the success of the startups who reached great milestones during and after the Climate Finance Accelerator (CFA) Programme:

👉 60% of startups raised capital, collectively raising $3M to date
👉 205 jobs were created by the startups, with a relatively balanced gender split
👉 On average, each startup is engaging in active discussions with 2 investors

CFA is a technical assistance programme funded by the UK Government to accelerate climate finance to emerging markets and developing economies.

This event was organized by the British Embassy, DESNZ, Flat6Labs, and CFA.

Creatives came together to explore “How Clear Decisions Shape Better Designer × Founder Conversations” with Mira Hani, our Creative Designer, and “Branding Beyond Logos: Building Brands That Become Habits” with Mohamed Effat, Founder, CEO, and Creative Director at .studio.
