We are Hiring - IT Infrastructure & Security Engineer
Are you an experienced IT professional passionate about delivering top-tier solutions and support to diverse clients? We're a leading IT service provider looking for a proactive and skilled IT Infrastructure & Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you'll be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and secure IT environments for our valued clients.
What You'll Do:
- Manage day-to-day operations for on-premises and cloud-based virtual servers across various client environments. You'll maintain and optimize network connectivity, including VPN setups, and coordinate WAN connections (leased lines) for our diverse client base.
- Oversee physical servers and associated virtual machines for multiple clients. This includes performing routine maintenance, patching, backups, and resource optimization, often collaborating with client-specific vendor teams for upgrades or migrations.
- Coordinate with various external vendors and client teams to resolve performance or application issues. You'll ensure all critical published applications within client data centers are running optimally and securely.
- Implement and configure firewalls and security solutions tailored to client needs for proactive threat protection. You'll apply security best practices, perform regular vulnerability assessments, and respond swiftly to security incidents across different client infrastructures.
- Implement and manage monitoring tools for system performance, availability, and security across client environments. You'll diagnose and resolve network/internet performance issues and continuously optimize IT resources for cost efficiency and high availability for our clients.
- Maintain detailed documentation of network architecture, configurations, and standard operating procedures for each client.
Our Requirements:
- Good command of the English language and excellent client-facing communication skills.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3+ years of hands-on experience in network administration, system administration, or IT infrastructure roles.
- Proven proficiency in Windows Server administration and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Solid practical experience with firewall configuration and foundational network security concepts (like Antivirus systems).
A strong grasp of VPN technologies, WAN optimization, and multi-site connectivity.
- Experience managing cloud-based virtual machines (private cloud or data center solutions) and a good understanding of best practices for cloud security, networking, and resource optimization.
- Security Mindset & Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and relevant compliance standards.
- Relevant Professional certifications is a plus.
