We are thrilled to announce for the first time in the Arab League history the inception of the Arab League business Alliance aka : ALBA. The Arab League Business alliance aims to build a powerful platform to coordinate a wide range of social and business programs to advance the 22 countries 2030 visions and KPI set in various fields around sustainability and governance.
The Arab League Business Alliance seeks to move the Arab economy forward while promoting growth, prosperity and corporate social responsibility. The alliance also aspires to:
• Provide professional representation and advocate for the interests of members.
• Facilitate access to essential knowledge, information, advice and advisory services.
• Promoting economic development through: Developing the use of modern and innovative technologies.
• Supporting entrepreneurship and initiatives.
• Establishing and strengthening cooperation and alliances with Arab and international organizations and institutions.
• Reducing administrative and organizational burdens and other potential burdens on businesses and startups.
• Expanding training and capacity building opportunities.
• Support business development needs.
• Promoting corporate social responsibility, awareness of sustainability and best practices across all sectors.
I am super proud to ring in the new fiscal year as part of the advisory board Lead for ALBA Business Group!
So grateful to leadership of the Arab League for believing and investing in the critical power of the private sector for creating compelling and meaningful best practices in various fields! We have 7 committees being created in various field: sustainable development, Banking, sports Marketing, Media & Marketing, real estate and Design, food and beverage, Entrepreneurship, Technology and digitalization, Energy and power. We are looking for strong advocates to lead the agenda of these committees and scale it to beyond the Middle East and African borders.
Being part of ALBA actually means being on a team of superheroes...
