إلى كل شركات الملاحة وأصحاب السفن المحترمين...
نحن لسنا مجرد أرقام في قوائم الطواقم، ولسنا مجرد وسيلة لتحقيق الأرباح. نحن بشر، لدينا عائلات تنتظر عودتنا، وأطفال يحتاجون إلى آبائهم، وأمهات وزوجات يعشن كل يوم على أمل أن نعود إليهن سالمين.
نحن نعمل في البحر من أجل لقمة العيش، ومن أجل استمرار أعمالكم وتنمية استثماراتكم، لكن **من حقنا أيضاً أن نعمل في بيئة آمنة، وأن نحظى بالاستقرار الوظيفي والحماية من مخاطر الحروب.**
**أوقفوا الحرب على البحارة!**
نعم، نقصد ذلك حرفياً. إن إرسال البحارة إلى مناطق النزاعات المعروفة، رغم المخاطر التي تهدد حياتهم، يضعهم أمام خيار قاسٍ بين مصدر رزقهم وسلامتهم.
أين مسؤوليتكم الإنسانية؟ وأين الرحمة بأناس هم شركاؤكم الحقيقيون في تشغيل السفن واستمرار حركة التجارة العالمية؟

**لسنا ضد العمل، ولسنا ضد مصالحكم، لكننا ضد أن تكون حياتنا ثمناً لها.**
نريد أن نعمل ونعود إلى بيوتنا سالمين، كما تعودون أنتم إلى عائلاتكم.

We work at sea to earn a living and to keep your businesses running and your investments growing. But we also have the right to work in a safe environment, enjoy job security, and be protected from the dangers of war.

Yes, we mean that literally.
Sending seafarers into known conflict zones, despite the dangers threatening their lives, forces them to face an impossible choice between their livelihoods and their safety.
Where is your humanitarian responsibility? Where is your compassion for the people who are your true partners in operating ships and keeping global trade moving?

Do not send your crews into war zones and conflict areas without giving genuine consideration to their safety and their fundamental right to work in a safe environment.
We are not against work, and we are not against your business interests. But we are against our lives being sacrificed for them.
We want to work and return safely to our homes, just as you return to your families.
A seafarer's life is no less valuable than any investment. Their safety is not a luxury; it is a fundamental right.
