Well you learn some new demographics everyday! I did not know, or even gave it a thought, how many Brazilians and European Portuguese people and families live in Dublin nowadays. Brilliant Some schools are already including Portuguese into their curriculum.

For some students, it’s a way to maintain and strengthen connections with family members overseas who may not speak English.

This is ridiculous. Elderly folk don't all have Smartphones or even understand digital data applications. Some folk do not even own a mobile phone.

How can people with impaired vision manage mobiles or tablets?

What happens when you have to have to check-in baggage and they need to issue you a new printed boarding pass. If you don't own a phone they can't "send" you one.

There are still a considerable amount of passengers that use printed boarding passes to get on their flight, however Ryanair is expected to no longer accept them later this year

Not everything has to be made by humanoid robots or sewing machines.
I still love handicrafts and clothing, woollen goods made by hand.
Yet, ic I was a young bride (or an old one) I would love to know it was totally hand-stitched. Every stitch we say is a labour of love. Be proud. It is beautiful.
