🌱 What does it mean to move from sustainable to regenerative?
For years, the Fashion & Textile Industry has relied on linear models: take, make, dispose.
But reducing harm is no longer enough.
GEN-C promotes a regenerative approach to entrepreneurship education — one that helps future fashion and textile professionals think beyond efficiency, growth and short-term impact.
Regenerative entrepreneurship means asking new questions:
🌍 How can businesses support ecosystem health?
🤝 How can communities benefit from fashion and textile innovation?
🧠 How can students learn to design business models that restore instead of exploit?
🌿 How can education prepare future professionals to create nature-positive change?
Through GEN-C, Higher Education educators will be supported with tools, knowledge and resources to bring these questions into their teaching.

⚠️ 3 challenges SME leaders often face

When time, people and resources are limited, leadership challenges can quickly become everyday pressure.

Many SME leaders face three common barriers:

🔍 Problem-focused thinking
It is natural to focus on what is going wrong: lower sales, poor communication, lack of initiative. But when leaders only see the problem, they may miss what is already working.

🎛 Fear of losing control
Empowering people sounds positive, but it can feel risky. What if mistakes happen? What if quality drops? What if decisions take longer? This fear often leads to half-delegation, where people are told to decide but are not fully trusted to do so.

🧩 Coordination complexity
Moving from “the boss decides” to “the team contributes” takes structure. More voices can bring better ideas, but participation needs to be clear, realistic and well coordinated.

This is where LOSB comes in.
Instead of asking SMEs to transform everything overnight, LOSB focuses on practical, context-specific steps that help leaders build collaboration without losing clarity.

🎓 Certification Framework
A European microcredentials-based certification system to validate AI prompt literacy, connect learning outcomes with documented competences, and support students’ competitiveness and mobility in the European labour market.
🏛 Policy Integration

Evidence-based guidelines and strategic roadmaps to help decision-makers and stakeholders integrate AI education and prompt literacy into Higher Education in a sustainable way.

🌱 We are excited to introduce GEN-C!

GEN-C is a new Erasmus+ project focused on bringing regenerative entrepreneurship into Higher Education for the Fashion and Textile Industry.

The fashion and textile sector urgently needs to move beyond linear models of take-make-dispose and towards approaches that restore ecosystems, reduce environmental impact, and support nature-positive change.

That’s where GEN-C comes in.

Through the project, partners will work together to support Higher Education educators with:
