🌱 We are excited to introduce GEN-C!

GEN-C is a new Erasmus+ project focused on bringing regenerative entrepreneurship into Higher Education for the Fashion and Textile Industry.

The fashion and textile sector urgently needs to move beyond linear models of take-make-dispose and towards approaches that restore ecosystems, reduce environmental impact, and support nature-positive change.

That’s where GEN-C comes in.

Through the project, partners will work together to support Higher Education educators with:

📘 a regenerative entrepreneurship curriculum
💻 an online course for Fashion & Textile educators
🧰 a practical online toolkit
🌍 an accessible knowledge hub with resources, case studies and place-based knowledge

By empowering educators, GEN-C aims to prepare the next generation of fashion and textile professionals to design businesses that support both community wellbeing and ecosystem health.

💻 Digital Twins awareness is growing, but skills gaps remain. 🪐

The DigitalResilience Stakeholder Engagement Summary Report provides valuable insights into how Digital Twin technologies are perceived and used across the construction and engineering ecosystem. Participants, including students, professionals and stakeholders, emphasised the importance of structured learning resources and curriculum integration to support adoption in both Higher Education and professional environments.

Respondents identified key areas where Digital Twins could deliver the greatest value: improving predictability and decision-support, enabling sustainable design, supporting material optimisation, and strengthening resilience to extreme weather events. 🌍

Many participants also highlighted the need for accessible tools that translate advanced modelling into practical design and operational improvements. These insights are now guiding the development of DigitalResilience curricula, recommendations and guidelines, ensuring project results respond to real skills gaps while supporting Europe’s green and digital transitions.

Learning doesn’t only happen in the mind—it happens in the body too.

👁️ Body language awareness helps educators notice non-verbal signals such as posture, eye contact, movement, or tension. These cues can indicate cognitive overload, uncertainty, or disengagement—and help educators adapt pace and participation formats.

🌊 Somatosensory awareness focuses on how bodily sensations (comfort, tension, fatigue) influence attention, emotional regulation, and motivation. Learning is not only cognitive—it is embodied.
