Visual Identity & Packaging Design for Fin & Sons

A window becomes the central metaphor, a frame through which serenity is both observed and experienced. Interior and exterior dissolve into one continuous moment of calm.

Inspired by the timeless cabins of Finland, the visual language embraces the honesty of natural wood, its raw texture, its warmth, and a restrained, earthy palette. The result is packaging that feels grounded, tactile, and quietly elevated.

A duality that leads to the same place:
calm, seen and tasted.

Our identity and packaging design are rooted in a simple yet powerful idea: an oasis of stillness in the midst of chaos. A refined sensory experience, where each piece of chocolate invites a pause, a moment to slow down, to taste, to feel.

For Desolas Reposado and Añejo, we built the visual language from references rooted in land, light, materiality, and ritual. From texture and sculpture to landscape and atmosphere, each image helped shape the direction of the ceramic bottle and its graphic system.

Rooted in Mexican contemporary sculpture and pre-Hispanic symbolism, our design reinterprets the landscape of San Luis Potosí, the land where this mezcal is born, translating territory, ritual, and light into a bold, contemporary expression.

We designed Desolas Mezcal Añejo, creating a black ceramic bottle that reflects the depth of its character. Inspired by sacred journeys, spiritual guides, and the birth of the sun, the visual system of both new versions draws from Mexican contemporary sculpture, pre-Hispanic references, and the landscape of San Luis Potosí, where the mezcal is made.
