Creative industries are becoming increasingly digital, collaborative, and cross-border, especially for younger generations entering creative careers.

We are glad to see Digicreate Empower creating opportunities for young creatives from different European countries to connect through storytelling, creativity, and digital collaboration.

Creative storytelling looks very different today than it did a few years ago. 🎨

Young creatives are no longer sharing their work only locally. Digital platforms now allow artists, designers, creators, filmmakers, and storytellers to collaborate, exchange ideas, and reach audiences across countries much more easily.

The 2024 European Parliament report on Europe’s cultural and creative sectors highlights how digital transformation continues to shape creative work, audience engagement, and collaboration across the industry.

Important conversations around hate speech and disinformation need practical tools, especially for young people and youth workers navigating digital spaces every day.

We are glad to see the Hateless.eu Toolkit featured by Jugendserver Niedersachsen, helping extend the reach of resources designed to strengthen media literacy, critical thinking, and inclusive online participation across Europe.

The toolkit includes practical activities and methodological guidance developed through international collaboration and tested during training activities with partners and youth workers.

Impressive results from the Embrace Future Public Awareness Campaign! 👏 By integrating the voices of children and teenagers into the creative process, this project has built a sustainable library of mental health resources across 33 weeks of engagement.

Congratulations to everyone involved in reaching the finale! By ending with the theme of Love, the project reminds us that emotional literacy is not just about understanding ourselves, but about how we care for each other.🇪🇺✨

The European Commission’s recent consultation and stress test on the EU Birds and Habitats Directives reflects the importance of continuously assessing how environmental frameworks respond to current challenges.

Within the Ecolution MSc, the course Eco-Innovation and Sustainability focuses on sustainable approaches to environmental management and long-term environmental challenges.

🐦 Why environmental protection needs continuous adaptation
Environmental issues keep changing over time. Climate change, pressure on land and resources, pollution, and the loss of biodiversity all influence the way natural systems are managed and protected.

These challenges are also shaping environmental policy and decision-making.

The "Child Before the Grade" - A necessary shift in Romanian education. 🇷🇴

We’ve been following the Embrace Future Regional Conference closely, and the conclusions coming out of Iași are a powerful reminder of why we do this work. Though the fact that 1 in 4 students is at risk of mental health issues is a stark reality, it’s about changing the culture of our schools.

The conference made one thing clear: fragmentation is our biggest enemy. We have the experts and the NGOs doing incredible work, but we need an integrated strategy that connects them all.

🌳 Do Green Spaces Actually Change How People Feel in Cities?

Green spaces are often treated as aesthetic features in cities, something that simply makes urban areas look nicer.
But they also completely shape how people experience everyday life.

According to the European Commission’s Quality of Life in European Cities 2023 report, the greater people's access to green spaces, the more satisfied they tend to be with them.

The same report also highlights broader connections between the urban environment and wellbeing. Around 13% of people in European cities reported feeling lonely most of the time in the month before the survey.

Public spaces, parks, walkability, and environmental quality influence more than how a city looks. They affect how people move, interact, rest, and experience daily life within urban environments.

The report also shows that residents in non-capital cities tend to be more satisfied with their public spaces.

At Inhabitat MSc, these topics are explored through modules such as Urban Sustainability and Energy Efficient Cities, where students examine how urban planning, environmental quality, and public infrastructure shape quality of life in practice.
