We are pleased to announce the 3rd Meeting of Iberian Zooarchaeology (EZI- Encuentro de Zooarqueología Ibérica), organized by IMF-CSIC and UB, that will take place in Barcelona (17th-19th June 2024). You will find all the relevant information in the webpage of the conference: https://ezi2024barcelona.wordpress.com/

Presentations submitted to EZI2024 should focus on materials, sites, ecology and /or problematics from the Iberian Peninsula or related islands (Madeira, Azores, Balearic, Canary Islands). Theoretical or methodological contributions are also welcome. The topics include:
• Animals in social and cultural interactions
• Innovations in taphonomical research
• Palaeoenvironmental reconstructions
• Animal diet, reproduction and mobility strategies
• Management practices / Husbandry practices
• Ethnozooarchaeology
• New advances in morphometric, palaeogenomics and palaeoproteomics

Presentations in Portuguese, Spanish, English, Catalan or Galician are welcome, we may ask for help with Euskara :-) Questions can be addressed to ezibarcelona2024gmail.com.
