Social media is full of non-original, untrue and stupid information. I feel it's almost become a waste of time.

However, there is "bad" information that is presented in a really cool way. That is a shame for me.

There's also really fascinating information that's badly presented - also a shame.

If you have something relevant to say, present it in a consumable, beautiful way.
Grab their attention and make the message stick.
Otherwise, don't waste people's time.

Your real life stories are perfect.
Nobody cares about your made-up perfect life.
Nobody believes your body is flawless.
To make millions in record time without a word... really...

I mean, granted: I am amazed at what people seem to believe.
I am amazed at what people take for truth without even questioning it.
The reason is that they are told what they want to hear.

"Elena Selensky spends €1 million of charity money on Cartier jewellery in New York."
This story got so much attention. But it's ridiculous. But it serves a certain audience. So why question it?
But are those the people you want to reach?
If you want to promote a legitimate idea, project or business, telling your true story is the best long-term strategy.

I am sick of it.
I've said it so many times:
Don't try to chase the algorithm!
Try to understand what the algorithm is trying to optimize: The of the platforms.

So how do ( , , , ...), ( ), ( ), (formerly ), etc. make money?
They sell .
How do they sell more ads?
By keeping more people on their platforms for longer.

So post stuff that makes more people stay on social media longer.
That's what they want.
And it's what you want.

Children learn from everything and everyone, all the time. They start from scratch and go through incredible learning curves to become functioning individuals - because of their innate curiosity.
When do we stop being curious?
When we think we know everything about a subject - or almost nothing - curiosity is at a minimum.
Curiosity is at its peak when we know just enough to be aware that there's more. And we need to see some relevance to us.
So find these subjects for yourself. Start over whenever you feel the need, start new things.
The moment you stop being interested in things, you stop learning.

The world is changing faster than ever, and while it might feel unsettling, it also presents a powerful opportunity to recapture that spirit. Success is generally associated with rational thinking and great planning. But Daniel Kahneman argues that the only way to achieve great success is to start projects that are prone to failure.
Most entrepreneurs have heard it all too often: "That's crazy!", "That can never work!", "That's so unrealistic in this market!". Well, I certainly have, and the only thing I regret is having listened to them. Sure, there are many ideas you have to pivot on, adapt, listen to customers and sometimes even get off the dead horse.

Not trying is the only sure way not to win!

Bias and noise skew decision-making.
Both factors weigh equally, according to studies cited by Daniel Kahneman in an interview shortly before his death.
What AI is good at filtering out, is noise, i.e. unnecessary and distracting information not relevant to a decision. Bias, however, will stay in the AI generated answer, making it stick out.
Although I honestly don't understand the reasoning fully (yet), one important message is that either way, AI will improve decision-making. And it will take away from the current power of CEOs, who are currently either relatively good or lucky at making decisions.

Covering AI's creativity with text was the best option in this result. Looks like the super-brain couldn't really decide...

I have tested some AI image tools. The results are spooky to funny to interesting and also useless.
To this day, AI is a great tool, but the human touch I think is still very necessary. In text it's harder to detect sometimes, but see the images for yourself!

So wie ein Fischer seinen Fang in den Hafen bringen muss, um ihn zu essen oder zu verkaufen, muss ein Marketer seine Leads pflegen und konvertieren.

Soziale Medien werden von Plattformen dominiert, die dir einen Ort zur Verfügung stellen, an dem du Kontakte knüpfen kannst. Dieser Raum in Form von Profilen gehört dir nicht. Und sie sind auch nicht kostenlos, wie es den Anschein hat. Die Betreiber verdienen mit deinen Inhalten Geld durch Werbung. Das ist in Ordnung, solange du dir dessen bewusst bist.

Aber die Betreiber können dir diese Profile auch wieder wegnehmen - inklusive "deiner" Kontakte. Prominentes Beispiel: "Metaverse" bei Insta.

My Hafen sind meine Website, Telefonnummern und E-Mail-Kontakte. Das sind derzeit und meines Wissens die einzigen Massenmedien, die betreiberunabhängig sind.
