🇬🇧 There is a fairly widespread tendency to think that a good international campaign can work in any country with just a few minor adjustments to the language or design.
The reality is often quite different.
The same product, the same territory or the same sector can spark completely different interests depending on the target market. Whilst some value innovation, others focus on tradition, sustainability, origin or the trust a brand conveys.
That is why, before deciding how we want to communicate, it is worth answering a much more strategic question: what does that market really expect from us?
The most effective international campaigns are not those that best showcase what they represent. They are the ones that manage to connect with the expectations of their audience.
Do you think we are still designing too many strategies with more thought given to what we want to say than to what each market needs to hear?
