Paris! Venez venez, let’s celebrate Lao tea together, and the successful closing of Mekong Tea Project. Five years in, a new tea farmers cooperative has been formed in Meung district, Bokeo (golden triangle), a factory has been bought, renovated and equipped, organic and fair trade certifications have been obtained, speciality black teas brought to European markets, and a first container of tea is on its way to France 🤩 we couldn’t be more proud and happy about these beautiful accomplishments thanks to amazing teamwork and support with and by the Meung Tea Producers Cooperative, , GRET, , , the Lao Ministry of Agriculture, DGRV, UNODC, and many more. Come join us at Atelier for after work tea cocktails and other goodies if you’re around! 🍃

Take me up north baby! Juicy landscapes from the window of the tiny antique Cessna Caravan which has been faithfully caravaneering me to Phongsaly and back for years. Disheartened to see areas which used to be lush forest until recently get eaten up by sprawling sugarcane plantations. Here's to my beloved sisters from another mother 💚💜💙 It's s 21st birthday today, and Taiy will be 23 in ten days. Teo reminded me today that we've known each other for eight years now - since my tea journey in Laos began in 2015, when they were cute babies! They were the first tea producer family I connected with, and our bonds have grown stronger ever since. Both of them are living in Vientiane now and we're working together and evolving together! Through life's ups and downs we stick together and support each other. I could never have dreamt that making some tea in Paksong could bloom into a lifetime sisterhood and extended family. Thank you for everything girls, so happy to see you grow, looking forward to things to come 🥰
