SAF is a type of jet fuel made from renewable sources like plants and algae, which significantly reduces CO2 emissions compared to traditional jet fuel. Some examples of SAF producers are BP, Neste, and Gevo. SAF can be blended with conventional jet fuel and used in existing aircraft engines without any modifications.
