national schools: ISCAT, a British curriculum school and SEK-Catalunya, a private international school. There are also a number of great nurseries in the area, including a new English-speaking nursery in La Garriga itself. Barcelona is easily accessible within 30-40 minutes by car via the C-17 or AP-7. By train, the city centre is 40 minutes away, with a direct line to El Prat international airport in less than one hour from neighbouring Les Franqueses - Granollers Nord. Also nearby is the university city of Vic and the historical city of Girona. La Garriga is also a mere 30 minutes away from the Mediterranean coast and just over one hour away from the Pyrenees, with the excellent ski resorts of Masella, La Molina and Andorra within easy reach. We are a small team made up of locals and Brits and other internationals.
