🗞️VALORISH at EUBCE - European Biomass Conference & Exhibition

👏We are pleased to share that our Sustainability Engineer, Patricio Ivan Cano Santana, participated in the on behalf of the VALORISH Project, where he presented an oral communication on the preliminary results of the (LCA) conducted within the project.

✅This work forms part of VALORISH’s holistic assessment under WP6. The LCA analysis is led by our partner IDENER, with Blue Synergy contributing to the goal and scope definition, as well as data compilation.

➡️During the presentation, Patricio shared the scenarios recently reported in Deliverable D6.1, submitted last month. These included analyses of conventional fish waste management practices, selected as the benchmark scenario, as well as preliminary results from processes for the production of fish oil, proteins, astaxanthin, collagen, and hydroxyapatite.

🔵At Blue Synergy SL, we are proud to support the integration of sustainability assessment into innovative circular solutions, helping to evaluate the environmental performance of pathways and their potential contribution to more sustainable value chains.

🔵Blue Synergy is strengthening SSH expertise in Horizon Europe collaborations!

💡Our Social Researcher and Communications Specialist, Julio Morales, recently participated in the online brokerage event “Artificial Intelligence in Horizon Europe calls: an interdisciplinary challenge,” organized through the Net4Society Cluster 2 Community Platform. 👥The event brought together researchers, innovators, and stakeholders from across Europe to explore upcoming Horizon Europe opportunities and foster collaborations between STEM and Social Sciences & Humanities (SSH) experts.

🙌During the event, participants had the opportunity to learn about AI-related topics in the Horizon Europe 2026–2027 work programme, exchange ideas with potential partners, and engage in matchmaking sessions aimed at building strong interdisciplinary consortia. 📌These interactions highlighted the growing importance of integrating human-centered perspectives, ethics, and societal impact considerations into technological innovation.

➡️For Blue Synergy, participating in this brokerage event was an important step in showcasing the company’s Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) expertise, particularly in areas such as social impact assessment, stakeholder engagement, public perception analysis, and communication strategies within EU-funded projects. 🔝As Horizon Europe increasingly requires meaningful SSH integration, Blue Synergy is actively positioning itself as a partner capable of bridging the gap between technological innovation and societal needs.

✅Through this participation, Blue Synergy continues to expand its network and reinforce its commitment to contributing robust social research and communication expertise to European research and innovation initiatives.

🤝 If you are preparing a Horizon Europe proposal and looking to strengthen the SSH dimension of your project, we would be glad to connect and explore potential collaborations.
