Strengthening international partnerships in China 🇨🇳 This week, our Managing Partner, Bernard Fay, visited in Weihai, Shandong Province, China, an important client of UHY Fay & Co. and a global manufacturer of airport Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
During the visit, he met with Hui (Ben) Xu, International CEO, and Jianan (Jenna) Liu to discuss ongoing projects involving the company’s Spanish subsidiary and to continue supporting Guangtai’s international growth plans. Spain is expected to play an important role in the company’s strategy as a platform for its expansion across Europe and Latin America.
The visit also included the privilege of meeting Mr. Li Guangtai, the company’s founder, whose entrepreneurial vision has transformed Guangtai into a globally recognised industry leader.
A highlight of the trip was the opportunity to tour two of Guangtai’s manufacturing facilities, where airport buses, aircraft tow tractors, lifting platforms and other ground support equipment are designed and manufactured. Seeing first-hand the scale of the operations, the advanced manufacturing capabilities and the company’s commitment to innovation made for a truly remarkable experience.
Beyond the business agenda, Weihai, widely recognised as one of China’s cleanest cities, left a lasting impression for its outstanding urban environment and quality of life.
