KAVELIN was founded in 1986 under the name GIH as a “boutique” firm which was set up to provide Occidental construction and engineering companies with key Strategic Advice (Market studies, entry strategy, business opportunity valuation and risk analysis). Our activities are centred around our core skills and know-how and we work exclusively in areas where we can offer our Clients true added value services, contacts and links to Regional and / or Central Government that are key to developing projects. The key areas we work in are Infrastructures (water, energy and transportation), Consulting (energy, community development, engineering, construction goods, sports and retail) and Financial Intelligence & Business Development (identification of local funding, asset optimization, cyclical and local opportunities). KAVELIN has ongoing projects in Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, ASEAN (mainly in Singapore, Indonesia and Philippines), Panama and Ecuador.
