👋 𝗔𝗜 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 "𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴"—𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁 𝗿𝗼𝘄.

Let’s be honest: while we adults are still debating which AI tool has the best "personality," young people have already moved in, decorated the place, and started using it for their homework. 📚🎨

We’ve been diving deep into the latest data from the 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘁 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁, and the numbers made us do a double-take. Not because they’re shocking, but because they confirm the "new normal" we see every day at 𝗖𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄.

📊 𝗧𝗵𝗲 "𝗥𝗼𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲" 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗜:
• 𝟵𝟳% 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗞 (𝟴–𝟭𝟳) have already used AI.
• 𝟴𝟬% have seen it used for good.
• 𝟳𝟯% believe these skills are the VIP pass to their future careers.

But here’s the kicker—they aren't just "tech-savvy" wizards; they’re also the first to ask for a manual. 📖

But here’s the kicker—they aren't just "tech-savvy" wizards; they’re also the first to ask for a manual. 📖

🤔 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸:
• 𝟳𝟱% say it’s getting harder to tell what’s real.
• 𝟲𝟬% are worried about someone using AI to make
inappropriate pictures of them
• 𝟱𝟭% are literally raising their hands for more AI safety lessons in
school.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆? Young people aren’t rejecting the tech; they’re asking for a GPS. They want guidance, not just "Terms & Conditions" they’ll never read.

At 𝗖𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄, we don’t just talk about "the future". We design the practical, human-centered tools that help teachers and parents turn these worries into 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. Because AI safety isn't a "maybe"—it’s a non-negotiable.

𝗟𝗲𝘁’𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘁. 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝘆. 𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿.

According to the 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘁 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 report, 𝟵𝟳% 𝗼𝗳 𝗸𝗶𝗱𝘀 are already using AI. That’s not a typo. Whether they’re using AI to generate art, talk to NPCs in games, or (let's be honest) "help" with their homework, it’s officially their world—we’re just living in it!

But here’s the plot twist: While our kids act like AI pros, 75% of them are actually a bit spooked by it, admitting they can't always tell what's real anymore.

𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 #𝟭 "𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁" 𝗶𝘀? 𝗬𝗼𝘂. ❤️

A massive 𝟳𝟰% 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 say they’d turn to their parents first if they were worried about AI. We know what you’re thinking: "I’m still trying to figure out how to turn off the cat filter on Zoom, and now I’m the AI expert?"

𝗗𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰. 𝗪𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗻. 🛠️

We are currently "crafting" our 𝗔𝗜 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 (it’s still in the workshop getting its finishing touches!). Our goal is to help you move from anxiety to clarity with values-driven guidance that supports confident conversations and digital habits that actually stick.

The future is being crafted right now. Let's make sure it has a healthy dose of human heart (and maybe a little bit of parent-approved wisdom). 🏛️✨

𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻’𝘀 𝗘𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 🚀

At Crafting Tomorrow, we believe technology should never come at the expense of human connection. That’s why we are thrilled to announce that 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝟮 of our series, “𝗟𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀, 𝗕𝗶𝗴 𝗙𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀,” is in its final stages!

This volume is a powerhouse of collaboration: combining the tech-forward vision of our founder, Kevin D. Shields Shields, with the deep expertise of Emotional & Executive Coach Maria Jose Dios. 🧠💡

Our mission is to help educators and parents tackle the "digital shift" responsibly. By focusing on the emotional well-being of our kids, we aren’t just teaching them to use tools; we’re teaching them to navigate the future with confidence.

𝗕𝗘𝗧𝗧 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲: 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗔𝗜 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗕𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 🚀

Three days and thousands of conversations later, one thing is clear: AI in education is no longer an experiment—it’s infrastructure. But infrastructure is only as good as the system supporting it.

The BETT Reality Check (Between the Espressos ☕): • Human Layer = VIP: We’re finally asking “What should humans do?” instead of just “What can the machine do?” • Systems > Tools: A shiny app is a band-aid; a system is the cure. • The Literacy Gap: We met "AI Leads" who still treat AI as a mystery box. True AI literacy is still the rarest Pokémon in the deck. 🃏

Why this is a "Crafting Tomorrow" moment: Everything we saw confirms our mission. Education doesn’t need more apps to download; it needs adaptive systems. We’re building the "GPS for Education" to help institutions: ✅ Anticipate change before it hits. ✅ Shrink timelines from years of red tape to weeks of reality. ✅ Embed deep literacy—knowing how it works, not just which button to click.

What’s next? BETT was the spark, but the momentum is just starting. We have officially entered our Alpha Phase. We aren’t just launching a platform; we are deploying a specialized ecosystem to move Europe to the forefront of technology. 🇪🇺

Thank you to everyone who challenged us and explored collaboration. Let’s keep crafting tomorrow—responsibly, systemically, and together.

𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟯 𝗮𝘁 𝗕𝗘𝗧𝗧 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲: 𝗟𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗙𝗹𝘂𝗳𝗳, 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲! 🚀

And just like that, the curtain falls on BETT 2026. We’re heading home with slightly tired feet but very energised hearts. We decided to close out the final day by swapping the usual tech-buzzword bingo for some real-world substance. Focusing on safety, wellbeing, and systems that actually show up for people when it counts.

Here’s the "Crafting Tomorrow" Download:

• 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁 & 𝗕𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀: ☕ We kicked things off with a deep dive into screen time, imagination, and the wild world of parenting in the digital age. It was a beautiful reminder that while we build the tech, the conversation always starts at home—rooted in trust and human values.

• 𝗔𝗜 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗹𝗹 (𝗡𝗼, 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆): 🌍 One of the day’s highlights was a powerful session on education equity. Whether it’s real-time analytics in K-12 or creative computing in low-resource areas, the mission is clear: AI should bridge divides, not widen them. This isn't just a "nice to have" for us; it’s the core of what we do.

• 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗚𝗲𝗮𝗿: 🤝 The rest of the day was a whirlwind of "human-centered" momentum. From chatting with Ministries of Education to brainstorming with universities across Europe, we’ve been busy planting seeds. Many flyers were exchanged, and even more exciting collaborations are now in the works!

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
If Bett Global 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 taught us anything, it’s that the future of learning is 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻-𝗹𝗲𝗱, 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺-𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀-𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻. Now, it’s our turn to take these big conversations and turn them into scalable, responsible action.

Huge thanks to everyone who debated, dreamed, and optimised with us. Let’s keep crafting tomorrow 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿.

🚀 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮 𝗮𝘁 𝗕𝗘𝗧𝗧 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 — Quote of the Day:

“Children are the living messages we send to a time we will not see.”

Honestly… that sentence followed us through every conversation today (and was the perfect reminder of why we do what we do).

✨ T𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆’𝘀 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿-T𝗲𝗮𝗺: ✨

• 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗥𝗟: It was so good to finally connect in real life with
Darren Coxon and Victoria Hedlund. Proof that thoughtful voices
online are even more inspiring when you meet them over a coffee.

• 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹, 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 & 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗔𝗜: We had a rich discussion
with Cerys Griffiths, Andy Miah, and Dawn Taylor. We spoke openly
about how children actually use GenAI and learned a lot about the
very real fears and concerns teachers carry into the classroom
today.

• 𝗔𝗜 𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 (𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝘁!): From the main stages to
corridor chats, AI dominates the agenda. But what’s encouraging is
the tone: not panic, not hype, but 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, and 𝗮
𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁.

𝗔 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗮𝘁𝗺𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲: Despite the challenges, the mood across Bett Global is optimistic. Educators aren’t asking if AI belongs in education anymore, they’re asking how to integrate it without losing humanity, the value of the "struggle," or mutual trust.

For us at Crafting Tomorrow, today reinforced our mission: 𝗧𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆, 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲. Always keeping learners and their future selves at the heart of the journey. ❤️

On to Day 3! 🚀

21/01/2026

🚀 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟭 𝗮𝘁 𝗕𝗘𝗧𝗧 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 "𝗛𝘆𝗽𝗲" 𝘃𝘀. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 "𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻"

Day 1 is in the books! The big takeaway?
𝗔𝗜 𝗶𝗻 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝘀𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁; 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝘆.

We spent the day at our Generative AI roundtable, and let’s just say the most grounded conversations weren't about the latest flashy bot, they were about the "struggle." Specifically, how do we keep the "A" in AI from accidentally deleting the "thinking" in students? 🧠✨

𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀 (𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗭𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗸, 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘂𝘀, 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗲, 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗮, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗻!) 𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗮 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝗸𝗲𝘆 "𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸𝘀":

• 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗢𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗹𝗲: AI is a great thinking partner for brainstorming
or error detection, but it’s definitely not the ultimate source of truth.
(Think of it as a very fast intern who occasionally hallucinates).

• 𝗧𝗵𝗲 "𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱" 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Learning should be a bit uncomfortable. If AI
flattens the process and removes the debate and the effort, we’re
doing it wrong.

• 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆, 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻: Early exposure is inevitable, but human
judgment has to remain the captain of the ship. 🚢

• 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: Like it or not, parents are part of this ecosystem
now. Schools can't carry the weight of AI literacy alone.

• 𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺, 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗽𝗽: We need to talk about energy use,
bias, and regulation just as much as we talk about "cool features."

🛠️ 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗖𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄
These conversations are exactly why we don’t just build "tools", we build the 𝗚𝗣𝗦 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀.

Our 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲 is designed to do the heavy lifting: monitoring technological shifts and recalculating the fastest route for curricula and lesson plans. This way, educators and policymakers can integrate AI Literacy thoughtfully, ensuring we adapt at the speed of change without losing our human agency or critical thinking.

Proud to be part of the crowd shaping these discussions.
See you tomorrow for more "crafting" at Bett Global !
