Last week we had over 100 people through the doors at ICADE Business School, from students, to graduates, to professionals all in the one room.

It was a great evening bringing together people who are building their careers across Spain.

From hearing different perspectives and career journeys from professionals at Amazon, Google, L’Oréal, Santander, Revolut and more, to continuing the conversations over drinks afterwards, it was brilliant to see so many people connect, share experiences, and meet others in similar positions.

A big thank you to everyone who came along, and to our partners IPBS Student Council, Dublin City University, Universidad Pontificia Comillas ICADE and the Embassy of Ireland for helping make it happen.

Jack Gleeson from Santander will be speaking at the SIBN Madrid event on 23rd April.

A DCU–ICADE graduate from the dual degree Global Business programme, Jack is now working in Santander’s Corporate & Investment Banking team in Madrid, focusing on international finance projects.

He’ll be sharing his experience moving from university into a finance role stemming from the Santander CIB Graduate Programme, starting a career in Madrid, and what early roles actually look like day-to-day.
