There’s one tiny mark in Spanish that has genuinely saved us from embarrassment more than once. The ñ. 🇪🇸😅
Miss it, and año, meaning year, quietly becomes ano, which means something very different and very much not what you meant to say at dinner. 🙈
Then there’s Ll, technically its own letter historically, giving words like lluvia and calle their proper sound, which took us embarrassingly long to get right. 😅
