When we first moved to Spain, bringing our Swedish car with us felt like the obvious thing to do. 😅🇪🇸
We already owned a perfectly good family car, so buying another one seemed completely unnecessary.
But pretty soon, it became much more complicated than we expected.
There was paperwork, inspections and extra costs involved in getting the car registered here. And just before we were about to finish the process, the gearbox suddenly failed. 🙈
The repair would have cost almost as much as the car was worth, so in the end we sold it and needed to figure out what to do next.
Instead of immediately buying another car in Spain, we asked some close friends here what they did.
