Once again, we had the privilege of guiding a fam trip through our region for Naturcyl—the Castilla y León Ecotourism Fair—this time hosting travel agents from the United States, Norway, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Poland.
With this fantastic group, we visited iconic natural sites such as the Sierra de Guadarrama National Park—where we were sure to spot one of our favourite birds, the white-throated dipper—and the Hoces del Riaza Natural Park, home to a large colony of griffon vultures.
We also took the opportunity to showcase our gastronomy and vast heritage to our visitors from every perspective—by air, land, and water: a relaxing canoe trip on the Linares Reservoir, followed by a visit to Maderuelo and the Hermitage of Vera Cruz with its stunning Romanesque paintings; the palace and gardens of La Granja; and the city of Segovia itself—a World Heritage Site—explored both by bicycle and by hot-air balloon (the sunrise flight over the city was unforgettable).
