𝔽𝕣𝕠𝕞 𝕚𝕕𝕖𝕒 𝕥𝕠 𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕝𝕚𝕥𝕪: ℍ𝕠𝕨 𝕥𝕠 𝕚𝕟𝕤𝕡𝕚𝕣𝕖 𝕪𝕠𝕦𝕥𝕙 𝕨𝕚𝕥𝕙𝕠𝕦𝕥 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕙𝕪𝕡𝕖.
Today I was at IES Alfaguara in Yunquera giving a talk. I was there sharing my own personal journey of the creation of Spain Simplified, and my goal from the very beginning was clear: I didn’t come to give them the typical motivational speech of "where there's a will, there's a way." Instead, I wanted to bring them down to earth about what it truly means to create something of your own.
We talked about the future, but from a realistic perspective. I shared the pros and cons, the difficulties, and that fine line that separates freedom from absolute responsibility.
Building a project requires patience and consistency that nobody explains to you in textbooks; you have to learn to live with the effort, the mistakes, and above all, resilience. How something is built from scratch, and how overwhelming it can feel at the beginning.
But entrepreneurship isn't about jumping into the void without a safety net either. That is why we analyzed the real tools available to young people today: the grants, loans, and support programs that can give them that initial boost.
Without a doubt, the best part of the day was listening to them. Hearing their own ideas and the projects they already have in mind made me realize what a true delight it is to see this upcoming generation of new entrepreneurs. They have the right mindset and a true passion to create!
Thank you Sebas Fernandez for organising the visit!
