The pool area is only A FEW STEPS from the house and can be accessed with a key. The pool is only for the residents - a nice, peaceful and friendly area. The house is a private home suitable for use throughout the year with gasheater and cold/warm A/C. It is nicely furnished and decorated and has luxus top of the line matresses as well as quality linen and towels. The kitchen has everything you need in good table- and kitchenware. It is a non-smoking house, but you are welcome to smoke on the patio, where you will find an ashtray. The house is situated in a quiet, small, private residential neighbourhood and in very short walking distance to a number of supermarkets/bakeries, small shops, bars, restaurants and cafés. The huge shoppingcenter ZENIABOULEVARD is 2 min. walk away and just around the corner you will find the big weekly local market every Saturday. Walk to the Mediterranean Sea and Playa Flamenca or La Zenia beach within 15 minutes. Walk along the Mediterranean Sea to some of the many other small beaches nearby. Torrevieja is only a 10 minute drive from the house and is originally an old Spanish fishing village, which has developed into a lovely and lively city of approximatey 70.000 inhabitants. A wonderful beach winds along the city and the beautiful promenade is full of cafées, restaurants, small shops and booths. You will find the authentic market hall with all kinds of fresh meat and fish, fruit and vegetables etc. Torrevieja also has a shoppingcenter (Habaneras), cinemas, a water park etc. The Orihuela Costa area has been pointed out by WHO as being the best place in Europe when it comes to climate and the number of sunny days (320 yearly). Visit the old, beautiful towns of Orihuela and Murcia. Visit Mar Menor beach, see the flamingos and try the healing mudbaths. Or go to Cartagena with the old and beautiful harbour and go shopping there or in Alicante. Take the fast train to Madrid (2½ hours from Alicante) or go skiing in Granada all year (3 hours in car).
