SERVICIO ENDESA X
Just a warning to all the British on this page.
When you sign up for the Happy Hour prices at Endesa they automatically sign you up for Servicio Endesa X - which is supposedly an insurance contract for your electrical appliances. They do not cover them in reality and just tell you that you need a new one !!! In reality they put you on a higher tariff anyway so the two hours free is not really free. Then they sign you up with this so called service also, without your knowledge.
BUT if you wish to cancel this service - you can only cancel the month prior to the end of your year contract. Once the year passes they sign you up for another full year and you have to pay it until the end of the yearly contract.
Today I have tried to cancel it wishing to give a months notice as I am no longer with Endesa. They say it has gone over 5 days into my new yearly contract and therefore have to pay for another year, they cannot give me any proof of when I originally signed this deal up either, and I can no longer see online as I have been a competitor for 6 months.
So be aware of this rip off with ENDESA.
